Education and Training is provided through and by the Dakotas Chapter of the National Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (NJATC). The NJATC was developed in cooperation by the IBEW and NECA to help both organizations meet the needs of providing a skilled, highly trained, professional work force for the electrical contracting Industry.

The IBEW and Local 714 have a strong tradition in education, and providing you with the tools, resources, and training you need to be successful in a changing work environment is among our highest priorities.  Classes are offered regularly in both Bismarck and Minot and include training in the following areas and many more.

  • Programmable Logic Control

  • The National Electrical Code
